Annie Mist Thorisdottir of Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie became the very first woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She was second in both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. She is popular for being the first woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Also, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie, her parents, as well as her siblings, were born and brought up within Reykjavik Iceland. As a child she was a huge lover of exercise and sports. She participated in many school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years old (as as of 2021). In the following year she again participated in the CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the contest and became the first female to win CrossFit Games. Annie won again in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She was the first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. In addition, in 2014 she won a silver medal and recently in 2021 won bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie works as a trainer and coach for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face of various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and the Sidekick Yorbae.
