Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the United States. Her main focus is actress, but also a songwriter and singer. Many people know her from her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television 'The Goldbergs.' She is primarily as a musician. At the age of 9 of age, she began playing around with music. When she was 12, she had taken serious enough about music to start training professionally. When she was 13 when she began writing her own music. Her first cover album was released fourteen years later. Since then, there's no looking back. Orrantia was born in the USA but holds Hispanic heritage. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico She is strongly proud of her Hispanic heritage. Her goal is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs, and also learning the language. "Hasta Verte," a track she recorded in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the X Factor's inaugural season, which aired in summer 2011. Orrantia got selected as a result of an YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" vote from judge in the live audition stage in Seattle, Washington. She originally auditioned solo, but during the "Hollywood week" she was placed along with three female vocalists to form a trio during the remaining auditions. They were eventually eliminated at the conclusion of the fifth performance.
